CG Police Constable Exam Pattern 2016: Before the written exam, applicants will have to go through Documents verification, Physical measurement, and PET. Candidates shortlisted in this round would be eligible to appear for CG Police Constable Exam 2016.

CG Police exam would be of 2 hours on 17th July 2016. This test would be of objective in nature. You can understand pattern of the written exam from this table.

CG Police Constable Selection Process 2016: Candidates who are applying for the 740 DEF Constable GD vacancies in CG Police, will have to clear 3 phases of selection –

  • Phase – 1 : Documents Verification, Physical Measurement and PET
  • Phase – 2 : Written Exam
  • Phase – 3 : Running/ Walking Test

Phase – 1 : Documents Verification, Physical Measurement and PET

  • In this phase, at first all the educational documents of each candidates will be verified.
  • After that Physical Measurement would be conducted. Candidates (both Male and Female) must have the measurement as described in official notification otherwise they would be eliminated.
  • Physical Efficiency Test would be 100 marks which includes following competitions –
  1. Long Jump – 20 marks
  2. High Jump – 20 marks
  3. Canon Throwing – 20 marks
  4. 100 meter Run – 20 marks
  5. 800 meter Run – 20 marks

***For clearing this first phase of selection, candidates have to secure at least 60 marks. (50 marks in case of SC/ST/OBC)

Phase – 2 : Written Exam

Candidates who qualify Phase-1, would be called for Written Test but only 15 times candidates of total vacancies.

This written exam would be of 2 hours on 17th July 2016 of total 100 marks.

Note: For Constable (driver) and constable (tradesman) post, candidates have to take a trade test of respective trade of 100 marks. For both the posts there is no need to participate in written exam.

Phase – 3 : Running/ Walking Test

A merit list would be prepared after written exam and only 5 time candidates of total vacancies would be called for next round which is Running/ Walking Test.

  • Male – 15km.
  • Female – 08km.

Male candidates will have to complete of 15 km in 2 hours and female candidates will have to complete 8 km distance in 2 hours, otherwise they would be eliminated in this final round of selection.

Note: There is a provision of Bonus Marks too but only candidates with specific qualification would get maximum 10 marks.

CG Police Final Selection: Eligible candidates would be selected on the basis of final merit list which would be prepared with 200 marks (100 of PET and 100 of Written Exam) and 10 Bonus Marks. Separate category wise merit list would be prepared and eligible candidates will be selected.
