JEE Advanced 2016 Educational Qualification: Candidates who are going to appear in the exam must pass 12th standard or equivalent with minimum 60% for General & OBC and 55% marks for SC/ST/PWD category. Candidates must have passed in 12th class or its equivalent on the first time in 2014-15 or should be appearing in 2015-16. Two Attempts in two consecutive years are permitted. Candidates have to be in the top 20 percentile among the successful candidates in the respective categories in their respective boards in the year of passing qualifying examination.
Age Limit: Candidates born on or after 1 October 1990 for the General and OBC category. SC/ST/PWD candidates born before 1 October 1985 are eligible for JEE Advanced 2016.

JEE Advanced 2016 Application fee:
Those candidates who belongs to General and OBC category, they required to pay application fee Rs 2000/- and 1000/- for SC/ST/PWD male candidates. Female candidates are free from the registration fee. Candidates have to deposit Application Fee through SBI Bank Challan. The Challan will be automatically generated once the JEE Advanced Application Form 2016 is submitted. Candidates are required to choose only the branches with CBS facility.
